seriously, reese?

oh my reese...

Crazy Bathers...

Liz asked me the other day... "what is it about a four year old that makes a baby laugh?"

a need to confess...

Reese has the same relationship with the treadmill, that I do lately. It feels good to share that with all of you. Maybe now I'll get back on and RUN!

Haul out the Holly...

We're just getting in the spirit around here. Annual tree lighting at FI was too fun!

too good to go to waste...

Peyton was in rare form for this years Christmas card photo shoot. I think she gets it from her mother.

Merry Christmas ... from this crazy family!

"Happy Halloween.. Smell My Feet."

No joke. That is what our friend Kuhen said at the first house we went to. And with some new babes (witch, ladybug, octopus) and old friends (lion, skeleton, belle) it was another night of spooktacular fun in CdM.

I think my kids are natural beggers/trick-or-treaters. Reese ran right up to almost every door with the big kids and P has done the same thing every year since she was 16 months old!

So after she exhasted the first group this year, it was time to head home, make a quick costume change, grab a new dino-friend, Boden, empty the bucket and head back out. Again, no joke. We've done a costume change 2 years in a row now.

I don't know what your Thursday nights are like, but here is mine.

Pumpkin Time

"look at the frickin' camera!"

Not what she said, but definately what she was thinking.

If only we could get a pic of all three.

Now that's sweet, Reese.

Galloping Ballerinas

**Please ignore the part where Reese sticks her fingers in a fan. I only noticed this when my sister (mother of the year) pointed it out to me later on video.**

Peyton's favorite part of dance class: All of it

Reese's favorite part of dance class: The warm up

Keeping up with the big girls is just going to be part of her life, but Reese sure is having fun doing it. P could just run in those tap shoes all day if I let her. The actual dance class is pretty fun too, once it starts.

Just yesterday...

Just yesterday it was Peyton holding onto our leg when unsure about unfamiliar environments. Most days Reese has taken over that role of the baby that hangs from my leg, today was different. Reese was holding onto PEYTON until she got her bearings in a new place with newish people.

Doesn't get sweeter than that.

Okay, not only do I love that clip for obvious reasons... but I absolutely LOVE that she "shushes" my dad as he walks by! She definately gets away with, what I never could.

Time Flies...

First day of Preschool 2007

First day of Sams House 2005

Time flies when you're a preschooler. Last 'First Day of Preschool'... ever. Kindergarten next year, hard to imagine. She was just a little 2-year-old going to her first day of Sam's and now she's a big 4-year-old going to her LAST year of preschool! Makes this mommy SO sad, but so exicted that she's going to the same preschool I did!
"I know mom, you went to school here. You already told me that." --Peyton

The Summer that they...

Sat

Walked

and Swam

Unbelievable what a munchkin can accomplished over a summer!

Our sister/cousin Lucy Kate is a big sitter now. So fun to play with, and so flippin' cute!

DeeDee Reese is a walker. I told Brett when it happened, "I'm so excited right now, you'd think she's flying." It's the strangest feeling... you know she's going to walk, you've seen it happen before (Peyton) and still it's like a MIRACLE when it does. Weird.

And, Miss Peyton. What a brave little fish. So proud, we are!

I harte you, cousin.

Look who came to visit... Our friend/cousins JJO and Hartley... wish you could stay forever!

Mission: Impossible

Mission: Try getting a good picture of your kid on her bithday.

Good luck.

But, who could blame her for not smiling? If you were sitting in a highchair, trying to eat cake, and 3 four-year-olds were standing in front of you yelling "EAT IT!" -- you'd cry too.

I was chastized by Joanna (I'd provide the link, but don't know how) for not blogging recently. "Teresa... why haven't you blogged lately?" Eyebrows raised, as if something were wrong. Great! Now if I don't blog for a while it's as if I have something to hide! What have I gotten myself into?

Happy Birthday Sweet DeeDee Reese!!!

Who loves the Fair?

We DO!!!
Aside from the airborne E. Coli in the petting zoo, the fair was a success this year. Peyton was big enough this year to go on her own bouncy ride... SUPER FUN!! Reese didn't make a fuss from the comfort of her MacLaren Volo circa '04. However, Brady was forced to marvel at enormous boobs, by his perv dad. He didn't seem to mind, like father like son.
